Participants will leave with new ideas, skills, and confidence to pursue decision making roles and add value to their respective organization or business. The curriculum in Latinas in Leadership Institute program is organized around four pillars with which participants will be expected to engage:
Growth Mindset
Understanding the development of your identity and professional branding. This area will reinforce a connection to your internal mission and motivation; things that can impact you in a positive and or negative way
Civic Engagement and Advocacy
Identifying critical issues and taking action to create space that promotes access to resources, participation, opportunities, equity, diversity, and human rights across all aspects of society.
Authenticity
Exploring your gifts and how to maintain your true self while maneuvering the journey through your organization and society.
Leadership Influence
Unveiling your leadership abilities, influence, and impact within yourself and with others.

This certification program is geared towards Latina professionals working in early career to mid-level positions in corporate, government, municipal, small business, education and non-profit sectors. And it should say This certification programs geared toward Latina professional and entrepreneurs in their early to mid-career journey.
We will assess candidates for this program based on two groups:
Early Career women: (3-4 years of experience in their respective sectors)
Mid-career women : (8+ years of experience in their respective sectors)
Application process
Applicants can apply independently or be referred by their company, business or organization.
*All applicants will apply using the online application and will receive an application update within six weeks of their online submission.
The online application opens November 6th , 2023 and closes January 24, 2024 via our website.
Tuition Information
Tuition for LILI is $6,500 USD, which includes: leadership education administered through an in person launch weekend, four virtual courses, supplemental guest lectures, materials, of ongoing group coaching for capstone project, and admission to the Latinas and Power Symposium 2024.
Scholarship Information
The Latinas in Leadership IInstitute can provide partial scholarships, offered on a competitive basis taking into account your need. If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please indicate the amount you would apply for.
